My journey into photography began with an unexpected change of professional direction. While working in construction, I suffered an injury while racing motocross that meant I could no longer continue working in a physically demanding job. While injured, I was presented with a business opportunity that put me on a new path. To start, I needed a website built, and while watching the developer create the site, I became fascinated by how it all worked. That curiosity led me to teach myself web development and eventually start my own business in that field. Photography entered the picture when clients began needing images for their websites. What started as an extension of my web work quickly became a passion of its own. Photography gave me a way to stay connected to motocross and the action sports world I loved. I’m drawn to the energy, emotion and stories behind these experiences, capturing the moments, people and environments that make them special. Nearly two decades on, I’m still learning, experimenting and looking for new ways to see things differently. Photography has kept me connected to the sports and adventures I love, while giving me a reason to keep chasing new perspectives.
